Here

You can only be all that you are, and you can only do all that you can do with what you are and what you have. And in doing all that you can do with all that you are, you become a little bit more of what you are and can be. Then you can do more.

It also helps if you're hacked off because your day did not go well or people irritated you, and you can channel your anger into productivity. Use the Dark Side, but not too much.

I use Facebook a bit. It's fun and allows the strands of connectedness to get quite stretched and thin before you lose touch with folk.

Nevertheless it could do with some qualitative improvements. For example, there is a "Like" function. You have probably used it. But haven't you wanted a "Dislike" button or a "mildly disapprove" button? Or even a Hate" button?

I have. And I find it's not just me. Here's a list of proposed Facebook buttons.

Moon Haiku

Eyes caught by the moon:
Lesser sibling of the sun
Bathes the world pale white.

-- James Collett (November 2012)

The moon is full tonight
And hurts the eyes
It is so definite and bright

-- Philip Thornton (October 2012)

Tonight's moon is bright.
It shines luminous and crisp.
Men went there, they say.

-- James Collett (October 2012)

The moon seems so near
Like I could reach out to it.
Quarter million miles.

-- James Collett (October 2012)

Teased my wife; she said:
"Stick your haiku up your bum!"
It did not end well.
